I purchased an LG OLED55CX6LA TV, manufactured in August 2021, and began using it actively in October 2021. On April 20, 2025, the television suddenly shut down, and a panel malfunction occurred.
On April 21, 2025, an LG technician visited and confirmed the panel defect. The technician also mentioned that models with the "LA" code, like mine, were known to experience this issue within 3 years because they were produced for foreign markets and often struggle with Turkey’s voltage standards.
I bought this TV directly from an official LG store in Ankara — not from an unauthorized retailer or an untrusted website. Given that this panel defect is a known issue specific to these models and not caused by any misuse on my part, I demand that LG fully cover the cost of resolving this problem.
Specifically, I expect a replacement TV with the same or better features, provided free of charge. When the expected product lifespan is around 10 years, encountering such a critical fault after just 3.5 years leaves a very poor impression of the brand. I urge LG to correct this perception by resolving my issue fairly and promptly.
I request an immediate response to this matter.
