Amazon Account Verification Still Uses My Late Husband's Email, Request Removal

1

I am writing regarding a serious and ongoing problem with my regular Amazon ordering account that I have been trying to correct for months. My account is still using my deceased husband’s phone number and email for verification, which prevents me from properly authenticating and managing my own account. Recently I called Amazon customer service and spoke with a representative named Ashanti, who told me that my issue was being escalated. I was told I would hear back from the escalation team, but I have not received any follow‑up call or email, and nothing has been corrected on my account. My husband has passed away, and I urgently need his phone number and email fully removed from my Amazon account. My clear request is that Amazon delete my husband’s phone number and email from the account and update the account so that only my own phone number and my own email address are used for all authentication, verification codes, and communications. I also request that a live person from Amazon’s support or escalation team contact me directly as soon as possible to confirm that these changes have been made and that my account information is now accurate and secure. I would like to be contacted by phone at 904‑294‑*** or by email at bo****@gmail.com for confirmation and any further verification needed.
