Lexus RX500h Wireless Android Auto Not Working as Promised
I purchased a Lexus RX500h from the Çetaş Lexus dealership in Bornova, Izmir. During the sales process, I was specifically told that the vehicle came with wireless Android Auto. However, after taking delivery of the vehicle, we were unable to connect any of our Android Auto-compatible phones to the vehicle wirelessly.
We have experienced this same problem since the very first day and have repeatedly reported it to both the dealership and the service center. Every time, we receive the same response, but we have seen no actual solution or concrete action taken. Even though we have pointed out that vehicles such as the Toyota Corolla offer wireless Android Auto, we have not received any meaningful assistance with this issue.
In addition, although the vehicle's printed Turkish catalog and owner's manual state that the fuel tank capacity is 66 liters, we are only able to fill approximately 45–50 liters of gasoline at most each time. When we reported this to the service center as well, we were simply told that this is how these models are and were dismissed without any technical explanation or meaningful investigation.
After paying a premium price for a high-end vehicle, it is unacceptable for the vehicle to lack the wireless Android Auto feature that was specifically promised during the sale, or for the actual fuel tank capacity to appear inconsistent with the capacity stated in the official catalog. I request that the wireless Android Auto feature be installed or enabled through a software or hardware solution as represented at the time of sale, that I receive a clear and transparent technical explanation regarding the fuel tank capacity, and that a definite and satisfactory resolution be provided for both issues.
In addition, the vehicle's multimedia display has had scratches on it since the day we took delivery. Despite repeatedly reporting this issue, we have continually been told that it would be taken care of, but nothing has actually been done and the issue has simply been brushed aside.
