2016 Model Range Rover Evoque Engine And Turbo Failure
While driving my 2016 model Range Rover Evoque with 55,000 km on it, both exhausts emitted white smoke, accompanied by a "service required" and "limited performance" warning on the screen. I promptly took my vehicle to an authorized service center, where I received a report suggesting that the engine and turbo needed replacement. They quoted a repair cost of 1,350,000.00 units. Skeptical, I read through comments on Range Rover issues and began to doubt whether this was a recurring engine problem, but my concerns fell on deaf ears. The most disappointing aspect of my life was realizing that I had purchased a Range Rover. At just 55,000 km, my car's engine had failed catastrophically. The prospect of repairing or replacing the burnt-out engine is bleak, and this failure is not due to any fault of mine. I maintained the car diligently at a TSE-authorized service, and yet, I find myself a victim of this circumstance. Borusan Oto, the distributor, seems to prioritize car sales over supporting their customers. It's disheartening to learn that this issue is a common occurrence with this model. Fueled by frustration, I'm initiating a legal battle against this injustice. As a piece of advice, I strongly discourage anyone from considering a Range Rover purchase, as potential buyers should think twice about this choice.
