Long Time Prime Customer, Felt And Was Told I Was Lied To
I placed an order on Amazon.com on 07/31 with a promised delivery date of 08/01. On 08/01 the delivery was delayed until midnight, and after midnight the date was changed again to 08/02. As of now the package is still not delivered, even though it is showing as being at a carrier facility about 15 minutes from my home. Because of the delay, I contacted Amazon customer service via chat. I was clearly told that the item would be delivered today or that I could pick it up myself. Based on that information I waited again. Later, a supervisor came into the chat and told me that what the previous representative said was not true, and that I could not pick up the item. When I said that I was taking screenshots of the conversation, the supervisor then said they could not continue talking, and shortly after that the chat disappeared. I am very disappointed that I was given incorrect information and then effectively cut off when I tried to document it. I have already waited beyond the original promised delivery time and know that the package is close by at the carrier facility. I request that my order be delivered to my address today as originally promised, and that this situation with conflicting and misleading information from customer service be reviewed and addressed.
