Opel Astra Engine Failed at 164000 Km and Replacement Vehicle Was Not Provided
I purchased a brand-new Opel Astra in May 2020, and despite always having it serviced at authorized centers, the engine failed at 164,000 km. The repair costs amounted to nearly ₺300,000. While other vehicles of different brands and models can cover 10,000 km without the slightest issue, my car faced this major problem. To make matters worse, I was not provided with a replacement vehicle while waiting for parts to arrive from abroad. The reason given was that the car's mileage was too high. However, when I purchased the car brand new, no mileage limit was mentioned. Everyone around me is aware of this situation, and I will continue to share my experience. Opel’s engines are subpar, their service centers are inadequate, and Opel Türkiye is ineffective in resolving issues.
