Lacoste Watch Not Working - Used Strap Order Issue

On 17.02.2026, I purchased a watch through Lacoste’s official online shopping site lacoste.com.tr, and the product was delivered to me on 19.02.2026. However, when I received the watch, I saw that it was not working at all; either the battery had not been installed or the product was sent to me faulty, without any basic control. In addition, leather-strap watches should normally be stored with the strap not fastened so that the leather does not get damaged, but the strap of the watch I received was already attached to the case, shaped as if it had been worn on a wrist, with clear creases and wear marks. This situation gives the impression that the product was either a display item or previously used, which completely contradicts my expectation of receiving a brand new product. In recent times, I have started experiencing similar problems with many products I have ordered from Lacoste’s online store. I have to constantly open complaint records, yet I neither receive proper feedback nor encounter a genuinely solution-oriented approach. Despite paying prices above the market average and trusting the brand’s quality, I no longer feel that the necessary importance is given to product quality or customer satisfaction. For this latest purchase, regarding my order numbered 8316130311316863, I contacted customer service and opened both a return and a complaint record. I clearly stated that I primarily requested an exchange with a flawless, truly new and checked product; however, I was told that if the product is considered “defective,” an exchange cannot be made and only a refund process is possible, so I was not assisted in line with my expectation. For this purchase, I paid ₺7,702 by credit card. I kindly request that this negative experience be taken seriously, that quality control processes be improved so that products are properly checked before shipment, and that my grievance be resolved either by replacing this watch with a problem-free, truly new product or, if this is not accepted, by promptly and unconditionally refunding the full amount I paid.
