Lacoste Store's Defective Sunglasses and Customer Service Nightmare


On June 13, 2023, I ordered sunglasses from the Lacoste store for 3,250 TL. When it arrived as a gift on June 15, 2023, the lenses had a clear and noticeable scratch, much to my dismay. It was an embarrassing situation, and it appeared that no quality checks were performed prior to shipping the product. On June 19, 2023, I immediately initiated a return, and the item arrived at the brand on June 20, 2023. They did not notify me of its arrival, however, until I called them several times to inquire about the status of the return. Why wasn't I kept up to date on the status, whether it was in the return process or being examined? Dealing with this return has become a constant annoyance, and I shouldn't have to go through this for a product from such a poor brand. I've never had such a long period of silence from any other brand. It's been 14 days since they received the item, and they're now blaming it on the holiday season, but that's just another lie. If necessary, I intend to escalate this matter to the Consumer Rights Authority.
