I placed an order for three La Roche-Posay products on Trendyol, but when my package arrived, only two items were inside. One product—a face wash—was completely missing. I immediately contacted the seller through Trendyol to report the issue. La Roche-Posay’s team responded that they had reviewed their camera footage and claimed all three items were packaged correctly, therefore refusing my refund request. They then redirected me to Trendyol support.
When I reached out to Trendyol, they repeated the same excuse and also denied my refund. I specifically asked to see the camera footage they referenced, but I was told I have no right to access it unless I go through legal channels. This is absolutely unacceptable. If they’re using that footage to reject my claim, I should have the right to see it too.
What’s worse, the box I received was too small to even fit the missing face wash. And even if we assume it somehow did fit, the outer package had no damage—so if it was supposedly lost during delivery, Trendyol Express should still be held accountable.
I’ve never experienced such a lack of responsibility from a major platform and brand. It feels like they’re betting I won’t go through the trouble of legal action for ₺1000, and that’s exactly why they’re ignoring me. But I’ve already filed a claim with the Consumer Court, and I plan to share my experience with La Roche-Posay and Trendyol on every platform available.
