Kobo Clara Repair Process Delayed Beyond the Legal Deadline

The Kobo Clara e-reader included in my order number W187672133, which I placed through the D&R online store on January 22, 2026, was submitted to you for service and repair. However, the process was not handled properly or completed within the legally prescribed inspection period communicated by your company. Despite informing you that I wanted to exercise my statutory consumer rights as a result, my request was not accepted, and responsibility was instead shifted to the technical service in an apparent attempt to avoid responsibility on D&R’s part.

The e-invoice issued for the product does not include the Kobo Clara e-reader, even though the other products from the same order are listed on the invoice. Despite repeatedly requesting the missing invoice, my requests have been ignored and I have not been provided with a valid invoice. My emails have gone unanswered, while the call center has only told me that a support case was created, without providing any concrete solution or follow-up.

D&R, as the seller, is my legal point of contact and is responsible for ensuring that the necessary procedures are completed within the applicable legal time limits. Despite this, the legal deadlines have been exceeded, I have effectively been prevented from exercising my statutory consumer rights, the invoice provided has been improperly or incompletely issued, and my requests for the missing invoice have been ignored. I request that all of these issues concerning the Kobo Clara e-reader I purchased for $171 be resolved, that I not be prevented from exercising my legal rights, and that the missing invoice be promptly provided to me in a proper and legally valid form.
