Price Drop In 20 Days - Karaca Mixer Grievance


I recently purchased the Karaca Pro Artisan Digital Display Cast Iron Stand Mixer 1600W White 5L from the “Karaca” seller store on Hepsiburada with the order number 410 643 549 4. I placed the order on 16.04.2026. Only two days after my purchase, on 18.04.2026, I saw that the price of the same product had been reduced by ₺2,000. Although I am aware that the 15-day statutory return period has technically expired, such a sharp price drop in such a short period is very disappointing. I have not even started paying the first installments yet, and as an early customer of this premium product I feel financially disadvantaged by this sudden change. As a consumer who trusts the Karaca brand, I do not find this situation compatible with customer satisfaction. A ₺2,000 difference within less than three weeks is not a normal and expected fluctuation, but a serious loss for the consumer. I kindly request that this grievance be resolved by offering a solution such as a refund of the price difference, a gift voucher, or loyalty points that I can use in future purchases. I expect a brand like Karaca, together with Hepsiburada, to stand behind its customers and to ensure that they do not feel victimized by sudden and aggressive price changes. I look forward to your constructive response and a fair resolution to this issue.

I am extremely satisfied with the product I received; I have nothing to say about its quality. However, your company's pricing policy took me by surprise! Selling the product at exactly 2,000 TRY above its current price, this 'contribution' to my budget, I cannot thank you enough. Your outstanding achievement in extracting 'excessive' money from your customers has given a whole new dimension to your corporate philosophy. What I understand from this courteous approach is: 'Buy from us so we can annoy you more comfortably, and you, as a loyal customer, keep paying this difference.' Even though I am pleased with the product's quality, I feel a deep disappointment with your company's price mentality that punishes loyal customers and its unwillingness to provide solutions. Instead of a brand that exploits market conditions so 'freely' to the customer's detriment, I plan to choose fair‑minded brands. I consider myself indebted for this unique experience!

As a customer who has trusted their products for years and bought them from the original seller (Karaca), I learned a big lesson. I saw that the product I bought from Karaca was being sold ₺2,000 cheaper by a different seller on Hepsiburada. Moreover, that seller both pays commission to Hepsiburada and sources the product from Karaca. When I called customer service and asked, "How can the product be cheaper than yours when there is a middleman taking commission, is there any difference in the warranty?" I was told that all warranty processes are the same and the situation is due to "free market" reasons. In short, I was told, "You bought it from us at a higher price, there's nothing we can do." Because this approach discards its own customer so easily, does not defend the inconsistency in pricing policy, and normalizes operational indifference, the Karaca brand is dead for me. I will never choose it again and I will tell everyone about this unfair pricing policy on every platform. Thank you for this mindset that sees its customer as "the person who pays extra"—it was a great lesson for me.
