I purchased a Karaca Mastermaid dough kneading machine from Karaca’s own website, and although I expected it to be a durable product, it malfunctioned after about 3 years of use. While it was running, the machine suddenly stopped and has not worked since. I contacted Karaca customer service about the problem, and they asked me to send the device in. I sent the product as requested. Afterwards, a fee of ₺4,150 was issued for the repair, but I was neither called nor informed in detail, and the device was returned to me without my approval and without any repair. I was later told that the information had been sent by message, but I did not receive any clear explanation as to why such a high fee was requested or why no repair was carried out. A device that breaks down in 3 years and for which almost the price of a new product is requested for repair is of no use to the consumer, and I find this situation both unfair and contrary to consumer rights. I request that my loss be compensated regarding the Karaca Mastermaid dough kneading machine and that a fair solution be provided for the product that malfunctioned in such a short time.
