At the beginning of September, I noticed my 2020 Jeep Renegade shaking at speeds over 100 km/h, and on September 2, I contacted roadside assistance. They referred me to a technician from "Haliç Oto" in Tekirdağ, who advised me to visit the service the next day. On September 3, after a test drive, the service manager informed me that parts were unavailable and asked me to wait for an update. On September 4, while driving, the vehicle’s safety sensors became disabled, so I had it towed to the service and requested a replacement vehicle. The vehicle was under an extended warranty, valid until January 2025, covering all mechanical parts. However, the service manager later claimed that the warranty was invalid due to missed 15,000 km and 30,000 km maintenance, even though I was the third owner and unaware of this. Initially, they quoted 78,000₺ for repairs but eventually gave a 15,000₺ discount, leaving me with a 53,000₺ bill, which I reluctantly accepted.
However, after a test drive, it became clear that the problem wasn’t fixed. The service manager acknowledged this, took the vehicle back, and now plans to deliver it by October 15, with the total cost being ₺55,000 (₺53,000 for failed repairs and ₺2,000 for the actual fix). Throughout this process, I have tried to contact the regional manager and opened numerous call center tickets, but there has been no resolution. Despite having an extended warranty, I feel ridiculed. The vehicle has been in service for 40 days, and I’m now facing a significant bill for what I consider failed and unnecessary interventions.
