Jack Wolfskin Terraquest Eyelet Tears Prematurely; Boyner Claims User Error

I have been a loyal Boyner customer for years and have made countless purchases based on the trust I built with the brand. However, the issue I experienced with the Jack Wolfskin Terraquest Texapore Mid boots (model 4056381_6000), coupled with the failure to take responsibility for the product, has severely damaged my trust in Boyner.

I purchased these boots on February 7, 2025, via Boyner online and picked them up at the Cevahir store. Despite wearing them only three times in total, the textile eyelet loop for the laces frayed and reached the point of snapping right at the stitching. Such severe damage after so little wear clearly indicates a fundamental defect in materials and manufacturing.

To resolve this issue, I sent the product in for inspection twice. Both times, I received a boilerplate response blaming "user error," and the boots were returned without action. It is completely incomprehensible what a customer could possibly do to damage a lace eyelet after using the product only three times. This response has been both deeply disappointing and extremely frustrating.

I have now sent the product for a third inspection (Inspection Request #ST-1636238-C7M5D), which I consider Boyner's final opportunity to correct this. I request that a retailer I have trusted for years take responsibility for this defective product by exchanging it for a new, flawless replacement or, if possible, repairing it to proper working condition.

Otherwise, I will proceed to file an official complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee using my invoice and inspection reports, pursuing my rights through legal channels. I urge you to resolve this grievance and address my deep disappointment as soon as possible.
