Jabra Elite 7 Active Not Charging After Unopened Storage
I purchased two Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds from the online store—one for myself and one for my spouse. Later, we decided to switch to a different product, so we planned to return the earbuds without opening them. However, due to our busy schedules, we missed the return window, and the products remained unused and unopened for more than two years. About 10 days ago, we finally needed a pair of earbuds, so we opened one of the boxes. Although the case itself was charging, neither earbud charged at all. As a result, we couldn’t use the product.
I still have the invoice, but since the warranty period has expired, I contacted Jabra customer support. They informed me that because the earbuds had been unused for so long, the batteries had died and that no paid or unpaid repair option was available. This possibility had never even crossed my mind. I’m not blaming the company for the situation, but I don’t understand why the batteries cannot be replaced even for a fee. After all, these were expensive products, and I expected to be able to use them for many years. Technical support plays a major role in this.
I am requesting at least some technical guidance from Jabra or a possible solution for this issue. Even though I never had the chance to use the product, I am expecting my situation to be resolved.
