Samsung Pre Order Failure
I previously submitted a formal complaint regarding the organization, supply, and communication issues I experienced during last year’s Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 launch. At the event held at Beşiktaş Swissôtel, which I attended upon a special invitation, I was informed that the 1 TB Blue Galaxy Fold 7 and accessories I had requested in advance were not in stock, and I received contradictory statements that caused significant inconvenience. This year, during the pre‑order process for the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the protective cases through the official Samsung online store, I unfortunately faced a very similar problem. I placed my pre‑orders on 30 July 2026 under the order numbers TR260730-44562517 and TR260728-43281274. At the time of ordering, the estimated delivery date was shown as 11 August, and this was later officially updated via SMS to 5 August 2026, as confirmed in the attached messages. Despite these clear commitments, my products were not delivered until 18 August, which is 14 days after the date confirmed by SMS. I specifically chose to pre‑order in order to receive the devices early, yet other customers who bought directly from retail stores were able to use their devices weeks before I even received mine. Throughout the delay, customer support attributed the situation to a labeling issue with the partner courier company and effectively shifted all responsibility to the logistics provider instead of taking ownership of the problem. During a follow‑up call with the Resolution Center, I was explicitly informed that there would be no compensation, goodwill gesture, or any form of restitution despite the 14‑day delay and the clear disadvantage I experienced as a loyal pre‑order customer. I was particularly disappointed that, after acknowledging the delay, the Resolution Center still refused to offer any meaningful solution. Experiencing such similar failures two years in a row, first at the Galaxy Fold 7 launch event at Beşiktaş Swissôtel and now during the Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8 pre‑order process, indicates a serious and ongoing deficiency in customer service, launch planning, and operational standards on the part of Samsung Electronics. Due to these repeated launch and pre‑order issues, as well as the unhelpful and uncompromising response from the Resolution Center, I expect an explicit and formal apology from Samsung Electronics and an appropriate compensatory gesture that reflects the 14‑day delay, the broken delivery commitment, and the overall negative customer experience I have faced.
