Iveco S-WAY 530 Trucks Gave Me Endless Problems and Poor Service Support

The air conditioning in the 2024 model Iveco 530 S-WAY trucks we purchased does not cool in the summer. When we ask the service, they say, "The weather is too hot." In winter, the Webasto heaters do not warm up and keep malfunctioning. When we report it to the service, they respond with, "The weather is too cold." All IVECO trucks break down so often that our vehicle had to wait 1.5 days at the authorized service in Mersin for a 15-minute Webasto malfunction. Despite the cold weather, they did not help, and we could not get it repaired. Since the vehicle is under warranty and has only 50,000 km, we cannot take it to an external mechanic. Our other vehicle, with 190,000 km, shows an AdBlue error. They estimate a repair cost of over ₺55,000 plus VAT and ask us to leave the vehicle for a week. We got it fixed elsewhere for ₺13,500 plus VAT. Our brand-new vehicle locked its engine at 14,000 km and stayed at the service for 16 days. Instead of replacing the engine, they just repaired it and talked about it as if they were doing us a favor. The so-called parking air conditioning in the IVECO S-WAY 530 trucks does not cool at all in summer. The Webasto heaters do not work in cold weather, and you need to go to the service for repairs. You cannot find an appointment, and they do not help. When the vehicle breaks down on the road, it has to remain empty because they do not send road assistance for a loaded truck. They often misdiagnose vehicle issues and try to replace unnecessary parts. For example, today, our vehicle broke down on the road in Bursa, leaking air. Since the vehicle was loaded, we called for roadside assistance, but they did not help. Their technician said, "The entire dryer and vent need to be replaced, costing ₺50,000-₺60,000, and only later will it be clear if it is covered under warranty." They said the vehicle needed to be towed to the service, but our driver identified that the air was leaking from the air tube drain valve. Even when we informed the service and roadside assistance, they did not help. The driver fixed it himself. The giant IVECO and its technicians could not do what a single truck driver managed to do.

We took our 2024 model IVECO S-WAY 530 vehicle to the Mersin Kılıçlar Iveco authorized service due to a Webasto malfunction that did not work throughout the winter. Before the holiday, the service said the part would arrive in 2-3 days. We stated that we could not leave a working contracted vehicle idle, so we would bring it after the holiday. They requested the part under warranty, and the part reached them. When we took the vehicle to the service after the holiday, they said they had installed the part on another vehicle, they did not have it at the moment, and they could not even say when the new part would arrive. As a justification, they claimed that the factory did not have the part. On top of that, they displayed an extremely complacent attitude by saying, "We installed the part on another vehicle because you did not bring the vehicle on time."
