IndiGo Flight Schedule Change Created Unworkable 25-Hour India Layover Without Visa

I purchased a round-trip ticket from Istanbul to Sri Lanka through IndiGo for travel between June 18 and June 28. At the time of purchase, the layover duration was displayed as 2 hours, and I bought the ticket relying on that schedule. Later, I received an email stating that the flight was delayed, which I initially accepted without issue. However, I subsequently discovered that the flight connected through India and that the layover time had been extended to approximately 25 hours.

I do not hold an Indian visa, and obtaining one in the final week before departure is virtually impossible for me, especially since I do not reside in Istanbul or Ankara. Despite this, no solution was offered to me. I attempted to reach the airline via both email and phone, but I received no response whatsoever—calls go unanswered and emails remain ignored.

My friend and I paid a total of approximately $1,480 for this itinerary. Because my plans have been completely ruined and a layover of this duration in a country where I lack visa authorization is an absolute impossibility for me, I demand that our reservation under PNR code KGRDXE be canceled immediately and that a full refund of our payment be issued to us without delay.
