IKEA's Malm 6-Drawer Dresser Reveals Subpar Quality! It's Just Chipboard!!!
if I had known, I wouldn't have made this bad decision, oh man, putting together that assembly was a real pain. I had to get my spouse and dad to help me out. And to top it off, when I found out what the dresser was made of, I couldn't believe it, thought the dresser would be a good choice for my baby's room because it seemed like it would be sturdy and last a while. But I didn't realize that the product was mostly made of chipboard, which is actually straw particleboard! I couldn't find this fact in the product description. The description lied and said that the dresser had MDF. As soon as we started putting together the dresser, we could tell right away that the material wasn't very strong. Even a few drops of water caused swelling and damage right away. Why does IKEA, a brand that boasts about its reputation, sell such low-quality furniture? no way I'll understand this.
