IKEA Ankara, Turkey (Natavega) Branch
On September 3, 2023, I purchased the Besta model TV and wall cabinets from the IKEA Ankara Natavega branch. A representative of IKEA informed me that hinges, hangers, and drawer rails were out of stock at the store but available online on their internet shopping site. Therefore, I placed an order for the missing parts on the same day through the IKEA online shopping site and took the cabinets home for installation. The internet order number for the missing parts is 310309231555206. On September 7, 2023, the missing parts from my online order arrived, but I had to return them because the packages were open. The carpenter who was supposed to install the cabinets informed me that the parts were not complete, and some were missing from the broken packages. On September 15, 2023, the missing parts arrived again, but this time they were in proper packaging. I waited for the carpenter to open them after two days, considering his availability. Unfortunately, he found open and broken packages once again, with missing parts. It seems they repackaged and resent them after a few days. I called the IKEA call center and informed them about the missing parts and the inconvenience I was facing. The representative requested the missing part numbers for each individual part from my order. I explained that I was not at home, and the carpenter would call and provide the missing part numbers. The carpenter called the call center on my behalf to provide the missing part numbers, but the call center representative did not accept the call, citing identity protection laws. I took down the part numbers and called the call center again to relay the numbers. The carpenter left, and once again, I paid for nothing and am now waiting for IKEA to complete my order. I don't know when my cabinets will be complete. I am sharing this to inform other IKEA customers so they don't have to go through a similar experience. Good day.
