I have an HP Victus laptop, which I use with a gomobile mouse to make things easier. I recently noticed that the keyboard backlight wasn't working. When I looked closer, I saw that the left side of the touchpad had sunk in. I usually use an external mouse, so I didn't do anything to cause the problem. There doesn't seem to be any way to fix the fact that the touchpad on the left side is sunken, and I've learned that I'm not the only one who has this problem. I haven't tried to fix it myself because I'm afraid I'll ruin the warranty. My question is whether I can send my laptop in for warranty repairs to fix the touchpad, or if there is another way to fix it. I'd be grateful for any advice or suggestions on how to deal with this problem.
