I encountered an issue with the cooling of my Ariston Hotpoint refrigerator with serial number 195068021.08. Upon contacting the authorized service representative, I was informed that the service would cost 200 TL, and they could record it if I agreed. I consented, and they made the record.
A technician named A**** contacted me, stating he could come, but his fee would be 250 ₺. I pointed out that the service center had indicated the fee as 200 ₺, and I had prepared the agreed amount. This led to an inappropriate argument like 'Are you negotiating with me?' I then said he could come or not and complained about the technician. Apparently, the technician was sent quietly.
The technician removed two screws holding the front panel of the refrigerator and found that the mainboard was defective and needed replacement. When I asked about the price, he offered that he would charge 5500 ₺ for installing an original board and 2500 ₺ for a used one. However, he only replaced one of the two screws and left. I researched and found the original board in the refrigerator's catalog for 600 ₺. If necessary, I would rather dispose of the refrigerator than be serviced by this authorized service and company at this price.
When I informed the company about the situation, they told me that the service fee list could not be shared with customers. No solution was offered, and it seems their goal is to infuriate the customer. The mere removal and installation of two screws should supposedly cost 4900 TL, for your information.
