Hotels.com is a scam! On May 18, 2024, I was searching for hotels on Trivago and got redirected to Hotels.com. I booked a room at Kapadokya Öykü Evi Hotel for May 25-27 and was charged 5,996₺ on my credit card. When I called the hotel, they said they had no such booking agreement with Hotels.com. There’s no contact number or customer service for Hotels.com. I called my bank while the charge was still pending to cancel my credit card, but the money had already been taken. Instead of preparing for my vacation, I’m dealing with these fraudsters. Trivago continues to advertise for them, which is unbelievable! I even received a fake receipt from Hotels.com. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
