Hotels.com Reservation Not Honored – Left Without a Room in Istanbul at Night
On October 26, 2024, I made a hotel reservation through Hotels.com. Upon arrival, I was told that my reservation wasn’t showing, and no rooms were available. I had already paid for the room, but no solution was provided. At 10 PM in Istanbul, I found myself without a place to stay, along with my girlfriend, due to this failure. I only had enough funds for one night, so we were left stranded. To make matters worse, the hotel listed it as a "price adjustment" rather than a refund. Hotels.com essentially double-booked the room I reserved. I expect a full refund and a swift resolution.
