I purchased the Hoover Dry 300 dryer a month ago, and it hasn’t been working as expected. Programs like "dark colors," "coloreds," "synthetics," and "denim" with durations of 1.5 to 2.5 hours do not properly dry the clothes, regardless of the settings (e.g., "sun," "closet," or "iron dry"). The machine only dries clothes adequately when the cycle lasts three hours or more.
If shorter programs can’t deliver results, why are they even available? Are they just for show? I contacted the store, but they couldn’t help. I also sent the machine to service, where it stayed for a week with no resolution. The service team admitted the dryer needs at least 3.5 hours to function effectively but had no explanation for the other programs.
I challenged them to demonstrate proper drying on a shorter cycle, even offering to take the machine as a gift if they succeeded, but they couldn’t. I demand a solution for this issue—either fix the machine or provide a replacement. A product this expensive should work as advertised.
