Happn Charged Me $15 Monthly Without Warning After a $5 Premium Signup
I downloaded the Happn app through Google Play and purchased a Premium membership. I paid the fee listed as $5 USD, and this amount was successfully charged to my card. However, without any notification, recurring charges of $15 USD started appearing on my card every month. In particular, these amounts were withdrawn from my İş Bankası credit card (last four digits: 7108) on September 16, 2025, and October 16, 2025.
I was not using my account, and I even deleted the app entirely. Despite this, the charges continued because my subscription was never canceled. Other than the $5 USD fee shown during purchase, I was never informed about any $15 USD monthly charge. This continued for about 7–8 months, resulting in a significant financial loss.
I am requesting a full refund of these charges and assurance that this issue will not happen again. Otherwise, I will pursue legal action with the documents I have.
