H&M Denied Refund for Defective Sweater Despite Purchase Record

About two months ago, I purchased a sweater from the H&M store at Mall of Istanbul. Even though I have only worn the item twice, the sweater quickly started to pill heavily all over and became unusable in a very short time.
When I took the product back to the store, I was told that they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have the receipt, and no solution was offered. However, my phone number was registered in the system at the time of purchase, so I believe my purchase information should be accessible through your records. Despite this, no follow-up was provided, and the issue was left entirely unresolved.
For a product that deteriorated this quickly, I am requesting that my purchase be verified through my phone number and that a refund be issued for the sweater.
