Grok Charged $26 Without Authorization Through Apple
I discovered that a charge of $26 had been made to my Enpara Mastercard on September 18 without my knowledge or authorization through my account registered in the Grok iOS mobile app. The transaction appears in my bank statement as -$26.00 under APPLE.COM/BILL CORK, and the last four digits of the card used are 5727.
I had never purchased any package or subscription through the app before, nor did I have an active recurring membership. Therefore, I consider this transaction an unauthorized and erroneous charge made without my consent.
As soon as I noticed the transaction, I submitted a detailed complaint through the support section of the Grok app. However, I have not received any response so far. Both the unauthorized withdrawal and the delay in addressing my complaint have caused me considerable distress and financial inconvenience.
I request that the $26 charged to my account be refunded to my card as soon as possible. I also ask that the necessary checks be carried out and appropriate security measures implemented to prevent similar unauthorized transactions from occurring through my account again.
