I purchased a Bali to Jakarta flight ticket through Gotogate, and during the confirmation process, they changed the flight time without my consent. When I contacted them to revert to the original time I selected, they demanded an additional payment of nearly ₺5,000—just to correct a change they made on their own.
This is completely unacceptable and unethical. We didn’t make a mistake; Gotogate changed the booking time, and now they expect us to pay to fix their error. This has caused unnecessary stress and financial burden, especially when we're trying to enjoy a vacation and rely on things to go smoothly.
To make matters worse, their customer support is unhelpful and unresponsive, offering no meaningful resolution. They just repeat generic responses and avoid taking any responsibility for their platform’s mistake. This is by far the worst travel site I’ve ever used.
I demand that Gotogate revert our ticket to the original time at no extra charge and stop exploiting travelers with hidden charges for changes we never requested. This issue needs to be addressed immediately to prevent others from facing the same unfair treatment.
