I booked a flight ticket worth ₺32,700 through Gotogate, and what happened afterwards is completely unacceptable. When I reached out to Gotogate customer service, I simply asked a question about my ticket. Instead of providing a clear answer, the representative responded in a confusing way, and during the call I even apologized, saying I didn’t fully understand. Shortly after, I suddenly received an email stating: “Your ticket has been canceled.”
I never requested a cancellation. I only asked for clarification about the details of my trip. When I confronted them about this, they admitted there was a “mistake in the call recording” and casually said, “Sorry about that,” as if canceling a ₺32,700 ticket without my permission was a minor issue.
This level of negligence is unacceptable. I am now left without my flight and with a huge financial loss because of Gotogate’s careless handling. I intend to file an official complaint with BTK (Information and Communication Technologies Authority) to hold them accountable.
I demand that Gotogate restore my canceled ticket immediately or issue a full refund of ₺32,700. Customers should not have to suffer such unprofessional and damaging practices from a company that claims to provide reliable travel services.
