I purchased international connecting flights through Gotogate and selected flexible tickets specifically to ensure I could cancel or modify my plans if needed. Unfortunately, my travel had to be canceled, so I reached out to Gotogate to either change or cancel my tickets. To my shock, I received zero support. They claimed the change or cancellation policy was the airline’s responsibility.
However, when I contacted the airline directly, they told me the exact opposite—that since I booked through Gotogate, only Gotogate could make changes or issue refunds. I was left going back and forth between the two, with no solution in sight.
Even though I had chosen flexible tickets during booking, Gotogate’s customer service later told me I couldn’t make changes. At first, they assured me I could reschedule, then said they had made a mistake and no changes were allowed. They also refused to provide any details on cancellation fees and were vague, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout our communication.
I am extremely disappointed by the lack of transparency, misleading ticket options, and poor customer service. I demand a clear resolution and compensation for the stress and inconvenience I have experienced. I strongly warn others to be cautious when booking through Gotogate.
