Through the Gotogate website, I purchased round-trip Ajet flight tickets for February 14, 2026, and February 16, 2026, under order number 1116-396-413, with a “cancelable option,” for a total of $442. When I attempted to cancel the ticket, I was told that the 24-hour cancellation window had expired and that I needed to contact the airline directly.
When I spoke with Ajet, they clearly stated that the ticket could be canceled up to 12 hours before departure, but that the request had to be submitted by the Gotogate agency. I explained this multiple times to Gotogate through both the call center and chat channels, yet no action was taken and no cancellation request was forwarded to Ajet.
Even though I stated that I had purchased a cancelable option and was willing to accept any applicable penalty fee, no action was taken, my ticket was not canceled, and I lost the entire amount I paid. I have been unfairly treated due to Gotogate’s failure to follow the airline’s instructions and assist me despite the “cancelable” label.
I request that the amount I paid be refunded in accordance with the cancelable option terms, with any applicable deduction clearly and transparently explained. Otherwise, I will exercise all of my legal rights and formally file a complaint against Gotogate.
