Gotogate Charged $1,345 Instead of $1,285 for My Qatar Airways Ticket
On January 10, 2026, I purchased a Qatar Airways ticket through Gotogate for $1,285. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that $1,345 had been charged to my account. There is a significant difference between the amount shown and approved on the confirmation screen and the amount actually charged to my card, and no information or disclosure was provided regarding this difference.
I repeatedly tried to reach Gotogate customer service by phone, but I was unable to reach any representative or connect to the call center. Not only has no explanation been given for the excess amount charged, but I have also been unable to obtain any resolution due to the lack of communication.
I request that the excess amount charged above the approved $1,285 be refunded to my card immediately and that a detailed written explanation regarding this transaction be provided to me.
