On May 10, 2025, I purchased two tickets from Gotogate for the Istanbul–Phuket flight operated by Etihad Airways, scheduled for November 7–17, 2025. At the time of booking, the 25 kg checked baggage allowance was not included in the ticket price, so we paid an additional baggage fee of ₺6,100.04 for two passengers for both the outbound and return flights. However, when I recently checked the same flight again, I saw that the same ticket now automatically includes a 25 kg baggage allowance at no extra cost. This change indicates an inconsistency in how ticket packages were offered to customers on different dates. As a result, we were charged for a service that is now part of the standard ticket, which feels unfair and misleading. Therefore, I kindly request a refund of the additional baggage fee we paid and an explanation regarding this difference in pricing or policy. Please note that I am requesting only the refund of the extra baggage fee and wish to keep my existing 23 kg baggage allowance for both passengers and flights unchanged.
