Getaroom Refused to Refund My Hotel Cancellation Made Within Three Hours
I reserved a hotel stay using Getaroom, but within three hours I had to cancel it because of unanticipated travel arrangements. Although Getaroom refused to provide a refund, I assumed a fast cancellation like that would be no trouble. I tried outlining the circumstances, but customer support wouldn't budge, adamant it was against their policy. Angry, I personally called the hotel and they verified they hadn't even gotten the payment yet. Getaroom is clinging to my money while the hotel is ready to deal with me. This is absurd. This entire encounter seems like a trap meant to rob you of flexibility and grab your money. I won't utilize them once more and am much let down.
