Hotels.com Charged Me for a Canceled Booking I Didn’t Use

I made a reservation through Hotels.com and canceled it within an hour. The cancellation was confirmed, and I was assured that no charges would apply. But to my shock, 10 days later, the full amount for a 3-night stay was withdrawn from my account—despite the fact that I never stayed at the hotel.
Hotels.com acknowledged the cancellation, yet still processed the payment. This is not only frustrating, it feels like I’ve been robbed. I followed all the rules, canceled on time, and now I’m stuck paying for a room I never used.
Hotels.com, this is unacceptable. I demand a full refund immediately. If this is how you treat loyal users, then your service is nothing but a regret. Fix this now.
