Garanti Bank Took My Money Twice After I Paid the Wrong Credit Card by Mistake

I have both a Bonus Trink and a Classic Troy credit card with Garanti Bank. While trying to pay off the debt on my Bonus Trink card, I accidentally transferred the money to my Classic Troy card instead. I immediately contacted customer service. Before the statement date, the representative assured me that a card-to-card transfer could be done and there would be no issue. A request was submitted based on that. Now, the statement has been issued. The card-to-card transfer was processed, yet the bank still expects me to pay the full statement amount again. My credit card limit is ₺500,000 and I have the full ₺500,000 available — in other words, I owe nothing. But I’m being told that I now have to deposit another ₺40,000 and then call customer service again to request a refund of my own money. This is absolutely outrageous and completely unacceptable. Why am I being penalized for simply trying to pay off my debt? Because of your internal incompetence, I may now face a late payment, damage to my credit score, and interest charges — all while I technically owe nothing and my full limit is available. This is not just poor service — it is a complete failure of basic banking logic. I shouldn't have to bear the consequences of your system’s absurd limitations and your staff’s misleading guidance. Garanti Bank, fix this. Immediately.

After the incident, I created 3 records and explained my problem to more customer service representatives than I can remember, but no one cares. I have never seen such an amateur bank in my life.
