Ford Fiesta 2017 1.0 Ecoboost Oil Pump Belt Issue

I have purchased Ford Fiesta in the past, based on Ford’s reputation. I own a 2017 model, Ford Fiesta vehicle. My vehicle is Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost Titanium model with 80000 km. I recently took it to the service (Erzurum Ford Cindilli Automotive Authorized Service) with a low engine oil pressure warning. My vehicle was inspected, and the oil level was checked, but everything was normal. As a result of a detailed examination, it was said that the oil pump belt broke and as a result, parts of the camshaft, oil pump, valves, etc. were damaged. It was said that the determination of whether the vehicle engine was damaged or not could not be made at the service in Erzurum, and that the engine had to be dismantled to determine this and it would be sent to the general service in Istanbul. The engine was dismantled and sent to Istanbul. In the detailed report (the service report is attached) from Istanbul one week later, it was stated that it was decided to replace the engine since service parts could not be supplied. A price of 290000 TL was requested for this change. Since this price was 120000 TL and above, it was said that a discount could be made and the exchange could be made with 185000 TL. Now, My vehicle is a 2017 model and 80000 km. This car has not even changed the timing belt yet. The engine and model of my vehicle are new, so the engine is just starting. It is thought-provoking for a new vehicle with a major engine failure at this km. The other sad point is that; Since my vehicle has an EcoBoost engine, no authorized service will stand behind and claim this vehicle due to such a problem. Because, as a result of our research on the internet, we saw that this problem is a chronic problem, especially in vehicles of this model, EcoBoost engines. He says this at authorized services and directs the factory to resolve the issue. Many users have encountered the same problem in the exact model vehicle, at close km. You can also research this on the internet. Unfortunately, when we tell this to authorized dealers, they do not accept it. The problem I'm having right now is not a user error. The official service itself also says this. It is entirely due to vehicle and production problems. I can’t meet this requested amount and have my vehicle repaired. I request that you, esteemed authorities, stand behind this chronic problem and eliminate my grievance.

Hello, sorry for my late response. First of all, let me state that Ford officials definitely do not stand behind their vehicles or such chronic issues. I had to pay nearly 200 thousand liras to replace the engine. Otherwise, it would have been useless. Then I sold the vehicle. I swore never to buy any Ford product again. I do not recommend it to anyone. No one I contacted got back to me. Because there is no such thing as customer satisfaction. I went and bought a Toyota. I drive it with peace of mind.
