Ford Focus Broken Timing Belt and a Customer-Unfriendly Service

I have a 2019 Ford Focus with 93,000 kilometers on it that I have diligently serviced at Ford-authorized centers. My most recent three services were completed at an authorized Ordu Altaş service center. My car currently has 113,000 km on it, and I hadn't replaced the timing belt because the service interval was at 135,000 km. I delayed the replacement because I trusted their advice, but my car's timing belt snapped at 113,000 km, causing significant engine damage. I took my car to a Ford Altaş authorized service center, only to be told that the damage caused by the belt snapping prematurely would not be covered. Their justification was that the timing belt change interval is 135,000 km, but it could snap at any time. This reasoning is illogical. Why not warn me when I brought my car in at 93,000 km that the belt might need to be changed sooner if you set a change interval? When I asked for a quote, they said they couldn't give me one unless they opened the engine, which would cost me an extra 14,000 TL. It is concerning that they lack transparency and customer friendliness. To make matters worse, Ford's general service department called and accused me of refusing to allow a motor examination. They misunderstood; I was willing to have an examination but not willing to pay 14,000 TL for a quote. They never recommended a motor examination or a thorough inspection for potential problems, which left me perplexed and frustrated. Due to Ford's unhelpful approach and questionable practices, I ultimately decided to have the work done at an independent service center.
