I Face a Missing Deposit Refund from Europcar — 385.76 CHF Still Not Returned After 70 Days
On July 29, 2025, I rented a car from Europcar Lugano City Centre under reservation number 22401722 and returned it on August 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Zurich Airport in perfect condition with no damage. The vehicle was fully inspected upon return, and no damage report was created.
During the rental, 385.76 CHF was charged to my credit card (last four digits: 4551) as a deposit. However, it has now been 70 days, and the deposit has still not been refunded. Despite sending multiple emails to Europcar customer service, I have not received any response.
I request that the 385.76 CHF deposit be refunded to my credit card immediately and that my grievance be resolved promptly. The complete lack of communication from Europcar is unacceptable and has caused unnecessary stress.
