Einhell Service Demands $35 for Warranty Repair After One Month of Use


The front attachment of my Einhell TE-DY 18 Li tool malfunctioned. I purchased the product about one month ago, and since it is still under warranty, I took it to the authorized service center Altınel Bobinaj in Bursa Osmangazi. However, the service center demanded a $35 repair fee for this part and stated that the issue was not covered under warranty.
I purchased this product for approximately $53, relying on the warranty terms stated in the warranty certificate. Being charged for a part repair while the product is still under warranty and being told that the failure is excluded from coverage has caused me serious inconvenience and disappointment. I also contacted Einhell via WhatsApp, where I was told that I would need to pay for the part, and when I mentioned that the product was under warranty, I was advised to take it to an authorized service center. However, when I did so, I was again asked to pay a fee.
Since the warranty period of my product is still valid, I am requesting that the malfunctioning attachment of my Einhell TE-DY 18 Li be covered under warranty and that it be repaired or replaced free of charge, without any cost to me. If customers are treated this way despite having a valid warranty, it becomes very difficult to continue using Einhell products or to recommend them to others.
