I Paid ₺3,891 on eDreams but My Sky Express Flight Failed and I Got No Refund

On the night of July 17, 2025, I completed a flight booking on eDreams.com for a Sky Express round trip from Istanbul to Athens (departing July 2, returning July 5). I entered all my personal information and finalized the payment. My VakıfBank credit card was charged $97.33 (₺3,891.45) successfully.

However, a few hours later, I received an email from eDreams stating that the reservation failed and that no charge had been made. That’s clearly untrue—the amount was fully deducted from my account, and no refund has been issued so far. Every time I try to contact customer service, I receive the same automated message: “Your refund will be processed within 72 hours.”

Even though less than 24 hours have passed, I am alarmed by the many similar complaints I’ve read from other users who have waited days or even weeks without resolution. I am very concerned that I might also be left without a refund. I demand a full and immediate refund of the amount charged and ask for a transparent update on the status of my case.
