Additionally, legal action has commenced, but I'm unsure if they'll even be served the notice.
On February 16, 2022, I purchased the Dyson V15 model from the Zorlu Dyson store. The transaction was made by my former spouse. By May 2023, the device started experiencing performance issues. I contacted Dyson customer service for a service appointment and received video support, and the representative was polite and helpful. After waiting for 15-20 days, when I called on June 21 to inquire about the motor expected to arrive, I was informed that these motors were no longer being sent. I mentioned my previous conversation on May 30 and requested a review of the records, but was advised to have the device inspected at the service center as the motors were no longer available. Subsequently, they suggested disposing of the device and offered a 60% discount for a new one. I objected, but they didn't provide further details or alternatives, insisting on disposal. After repeated pressure, I reluctantly agreed, but stated I wouldn't accept the 60% discount for a new device.
In mid-July, a package arrived containing the allegedly discontinued motor. Dyson claimed the initial information about the motor's availability was incorrect, yet I received it. I informed them that I no longer had the device, and they insisted I return the motor to receive the discount. This cycle of miscommunication has been exhausting, and stressful, and has left me without a solution and stuck with a spare motor.
