I’ve been using the Dyson V8 cordless vacuum cleaner for about a year and a half, well within the warranty period. Over time, the lower part of the brush head (as shown in the photo) started thinning out and eventually separated from the rest of the attachment. This is clearly a wear-and-tear issue due to regular use—not misuse or accidental damage.

When I contacted Dyson, I was shocked to hear that I would need to pay for a replacement part. This is completely unacceptable, especially since I was told at the time of purchase that customers are entitled to two free part replacements per year. If that’s the case, why am I being asked to pay for a product that is still under warranty?

Right now, I can't even use the vacuum because the worn-out head makes it ineffective. For such an expensive device, I expected better support and service. Dyson should honor their promise and send a replacement part without charging. I’m asking for my issue to be resolved immediately and for Dyson to stand behind their product and warranty policies.

I already called you, if it had been resolved, why would I complain? I called while at home, the camera turned on and took a picture. Your employee said I could pay for it, even though it's a guaranteed product. I also work, obviously I don't walk around with a vacuum cleaner.

I think the company is waiting for the warranty period to end because they haven't solved my problem.
