Hello, I recently purchased a Dyson Gen5detect cordless vacuum, and although it still performs basic suction tasks, the screen suddenly went completely black without any warning. I’ve only been using it for about a month, so this issue is not only frustrating but also extremely disappointing coming from a brand like Dyson, known for its premium quality and high prices.
I can no longer view battery status, performance mode, or any other display data. It’s unsettling that a newly released, high-end vacuum would experience such a fault so early into ownership. I haven’t dropped the device or misused it in any way. It just went dark out of nowhere, and there’s been no way to restore the screen.
Considering the product is still under warranty, I expect a quick and full resolution, including a free repair or replacement of the faulty unit. I chose Dyson because I trusted the technology and brand reputation, but this experience has really shaken that trust. Please take accountability and assist customers like me who invest in your devices with high expectations.
