I purchased my Dyson OnTrac headphones on September 24, 2025, from the Dyson store at İzmir Optimum. I still have the original invoice and warranty documents.
On November 17, 2025, while I was at Ege University, my headphones were stolen. After the theft, I contacted Dyson customer service by phone and explained the situation in detail. I was informed that no action could be taken regarding the incident.
It is extremely disappointing that many headphones priced around $67 include tracking features, yet a product for which I paid approximately $833 does not offer any tracking capability. It is even more frustrating that no alternative solution or guidance was provided for such a high-priced device.
When I went to the police, they informed me that since there was no camera footage, an official incident report could not be issued. However, they stated they could prepare a document confirming that I no longer possess the headphones if Dyson provides a positive response.
I respectfully request that my complaint be reviewed and that a fair solution be offered regarding the cost of the stolen product. I also urge Dyson to consider implementing stronger user safety measures and tracking capabilities for high-value products.
If necessary, I am prepared to provide my invoice, warranty documents, and any official statement that can be issued by the police confirming the theft.
