Dyson Company Applies Double Standards Regarding V15 Detect Vacuum

As a gift, my spouse bought a Dyson V15 Detect vacuum cleaner and a Dyson AirwrapTM Multi-styler Complete Long (Prussian Blue and Bright Copper). Similarly, our friend purchased the same Airwrap model (Prussian Blue) for their partner. Men aren't usually picky about these things, but they assumed the travel case would be included, as it was in the Vinca Blue model. As frequent travelers, the travel case is an important consideration for us. However, when they received the products, they discovered that the travel case was missing and contacted Dyson. Surprisingly, while our friend received a positive response and had the travel case shipped immediately, Dyson informed us that they were unable to send it to us. What is the source of this double standard? If there is a clear policy, it should be applied uniformly to all. Otherwise, is it at the discretion of the customer service representative? We're curious as to why our request was denied, especially since we made a higher-value purchase but were treated differently for the same request. Such inconsistency from a reputable brand like Dyson is confusing and disappointing.
