Urgent Request: Wrong Item Returned Due to Shipping Label Mix-Up


On June 18, 2025, I returned a pair of trousers I had purchased from Trendyol via DHL Cargo at the Kestel Bursa branch. I did not include any other item in the return package, and the return code was correct — if it hadn’t been, my name wouldn’t have appeared and I would have been notified immediately. Two days later, I received a call stating that the item was being returned to me due to an “incorrect item” issue. I was told that once I received it, I should generate a new return code and send it again. The package arrived two days ago, but instead of the trousers I originally returned (which cost ₺1,300), I received a cheap mesh item. For the past two days, I’ve been trying to reach customer service, but I haven’t received any meaningful response. They only mention that a request has been created and show no effort to resolve the issue. It is clear that DHL staff at the branch mistakenly swapped the barcodes of two parcels by placing them together. There is no other logical explanation. My return barcode was likely placed on the mesh item, and the other customer’s barcode was placed on my parcel. Both DHL Cargo and Trendyol are responsible for this error. I demand that my original package be located and my return processed immediately. If this issue is not resolved, I will not hesitate to file a complaint with the Consumer Rights Authority.
