Dexcom G6 Sensor and Transmitter Replacement Delays Cause Major Issues

I keep experiencing recurring issues with the Dexcom G6 sensor and transmitter replacement process, especially when the transmitter’s life ends. Despite following all recommended steps, including disconnecting Bluetooth, it takes several hours for the new transmitter to connect.

During this delay, we are forced to repeatedly rely on finger pricks for blood glucose readings, which is both inconvenient and frustrating. This defeats the purpose of using a continuous glucose monitoring system.

Dexcom needs to address this connectivity issue urgently and provide clear, reliable solutions to ensure a seamless transition between transmitters. As a user, I expect more dependable service for such a critical medical device. Please resolve this matter promptly.
