My HP Smart Tank 515 printer, which is still under warranty, developed a malfunction and was sent to an authorized service center about one month ago. After the inspection, I was informed that the printer could not be repaired and that it would be replaced under warranty.
However, the replacement model offered to me, HP 4A8D6A, is not equivalent to my current printer in terms of print resolution, print speed, or printing capacity. While the current market value of my HP Smart Tank 515 is approximately $667, the offered replacement model has a market value of around $133. In other words, the proposed device is clearly not comparable to my printer, both technically and financially.
I have communicated this issue multiple times, both in writing and by phone, to customer service, clearly stating that the offered model is not an equivalent replacement and that this proposal is unacceptable. Despite this, I have still not received a fair and truly equivalent replacement offer.
Under the terms of the warranty, I am requesting that my HP Smart Tank 515 printer be replaced with a model that is genuinely equivalent in both technical specifications and market value. I kindly ask that my grievance be resolved and that this process be concluded as soon as possible, with proper consideration for customer satisfaction.
